創業1979年、80.90年代は日本国内そして苗場はスキーブーム絶頂期。
木造建築にこだわり34年間ペンションとして営んで来たましたが、2013年に閉館。
近年訪日外国人増加により日本は海外からも注目され、旅のスタイルも変化する中、
世界から自然や資源、そして個性を求めて『旅』を『自由』に楽しむ旅人が増えています。
新たなスタートには『自由』をコンセプトに創業以来の丸太剥き出しの創りはそのままに、
一方で心落ち着く和のテイストを調和させ、セルフチェックイン・チェックアウトを基本とし、
暖炉ラウンジ、メインダイニングなどパブリックスペースや、
長期滞在に重要なランドリーも完備しており自由にお使い頂けます。

Fitness、Ofuro、Sauna、Ice Boxなど、
心と身体を整える上質なリラクゼーションをご自身のスタイルに合わせてご堪能下さい。
時間や選択を自由に出来る滞在を心掛けており、滞在ニーズにお応えする為にも
各所にアメニティやタオルなどを完備し、ルームサービス等が無い代わりに
24時間多目的自動販売機にてお飲み物や軽食をご自由にお買い求め頂けます。

Founded in 1979, at the beginning of the ski boom in Japan during 80’s and 90’s.
The original owner, with a love for Japanese carpentry, operated the business for 34 years, closing in 2013.
Recently, Japan has enjoyed a rise in popularity amongst international travelers,
who seem to enjoy the freedom in designing their own unique itinerary.
Reopening in 2020, we are adding a modern Japanese flare to the original log cabin design.
We offer self check in and out, a lounge area with a fireplace, a main dining area, a free laundry room,
a 24 hour vending machine, and our wellness center which includes a gym, a state of the art sauna,
and a Japanese style bath, all which make a long term visit very comfortable.
豪雪地帯NAEBAは年間10メートルを超える積雪があり、
雪資源の美しさと稀少性は時として自然の厳しさも同時に与えてくれる。
創業者 皆川賢治（故）・則子 降雪地帯 新潟県出身。
皆川賢治はプロの競輪選手だった。
則子と出会い、スポーツ選手として生計を立て過ごした現役時代。
将来の夢は雪山で宿泊業を営み人生を豊かにする事だった。
木が好きで、木が呼吸する事で生まれる温もりをこよなく愛した創業者。
木造建築に魅了され、日本伝統建築を用いた職人の技を使い、
新潟県産の杉を一本丸々使った柱や、300年経つ古民家から欅柱を用いるなど40年経ち息子によりリブランディングされ7年ぶり再稼働へ。
Naeba is an area of high snowfall, receiving more than 10 meters of snow per year.Beautiful, and plentiful, the snow is our provider and teacher.
Founder Kenji and Noriko Minagawa, both born in snowy Niigata.Kenji Minagawa was a professional cyclist. After Kenji and Noriko met, they began chasing their dream of owning and operating a guesthouse deep in the mountains.
Kenji, who loved wood and carpentry, and the ambiance it creates. A whole cedar tree was locally sourced and used as a pillar. Another pillar is zelkova, salvaged from a 300 year old house. 40 years later, Kenji’s son is rebranding and reopening.

小学生以下のお子様のご宿泊はお断りしております。中学生以上は大人料金でお泊り頂けます。

ご連絡なくご利用がない場合：宿泊料金の 100％

There is no refrigerator. There is an ice machine in the main dining room, so feel free to use it.
